Apple and pear trees should be pruned in winter to maintain a healthy shape and size and to ensure they will fruit plentifully for future decades. We will teach you the theory and practice of winter fruit tree pruning, and together we will help to maintain the 10 fruit trees planted at Attock Park last winter. This course is primarily for volunteers who care for any of the 20 community orchards in Bradford Distict. If that's not you the recommended donation is £20, but this can be higher or lower depending on your circumstances.
