Ever eaten a tayberry, or an apple that tastes like pineapple? How often do you see whitecurrants on supermarket shelves, or eight different varieties of cherry?
All of these can be found at our tree nursery in Armley, West Leeds. We cultivate a wide variety of fruit trees and soft fruit bushes that have been specially selected to grow well in a northern climate. We produce our fruit trees using a technique known as grafting. This involves joining a cutting from a mature fruit tree onto a rootstock – the lower part of another tree where the roots are. Below you’ll find a list of the varieties we are currently stocking.

We offer a professional grafting service for gardeners, smallholders and farmers who wish to propagate a specific variety of fruit tree.
To do this, get in touch with us in winter so we can make sure we have enough rootstocks. You will need to take several cuttings from your tree when it is dormant and send them to us for grafting in early spring.
This service costs £22 per tree. Please get in touch with us to make the necessary arrangements.
