Join us to learn the theory and practice of summer fruit tree pruning, and together we will help to maintain the fruit trees at Western Flatts Cliff Park.

By the end of the workshop, you will know how to:

• Prune stone fruit trees, including plum, damson, cherry, apricot and almond.

• Prune new growth on apple and pear trees following winter pruning.

What to bring:

If you have them, please bring along a sharp pair of secateurs and a pruning saw. Tools will be provided if you don’t have your own.

Participants will each receive a copy of Chloe Ward's excellent pruning guide "for real people with imperfect trees".
