Top Grafting: Learn How to Grow Multiple Fruit Varieties on One Tree

  • LILAC Victoria Park Avenue Leeds, England, LS5 3AG United Kingdom (map)

Top grafting is a method of grafting cuttings (scions) onto a compatible tree that is already growing. This is useful if the tree is not producing fruit you want, or if you want to add more fruit varieties to your tree. For example grafting fruiting cherry onto a flowering cherry, or pear on to hawthorn. Or some tasty apple varieties instead of apples you don’t like!

We will discuss the theory of top grafting, demonstrate the process, and you’ll be able to try it out yourself.

No need to bring anything, we will provide materials.

Tickets available on Eventbrite.
